I'll overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
